The springtime tradition returns as the PGA Tour rolls into Hilton Head Island for the 2024 RBC Heritage! From April 15th to 21st, Harbour Town Golf Links will host another week of world-class golf, complete with thrilling competition, stunning scenery, and the signature Southern hospitality that the RBC Heritage is known for.
A Stacked Field Vies for the Title
Following the drama of the Masters, the 2024 RBC Heritage boasts an impressive field of players. Reigning champion Matt Fitzpatrick will be looking to defend his title. Still, he’ll face stiff competition from a stacked roster that includes some of the biggest names in golf, including Rory McIlroy. Will we see a familiar face hoist the trophy, or will a new star emerge from the pack?
Harbour Town’s Unique Challenge
Harbour Town Golf Links is a fan favorite for both players and spectators. This iconic course is known for its tight fairways, challenging breezes, and the famed 18th hole, complete with its lighthouse backdrop. Expect to see strategic shot-making and plenty of excitement as players navigate Harbour Town’s demanding layout.
Beyond the Fairway: RBC Heritage Fun for All
The RBC Heritage is more than just golf. The tournament village offers a variety of activities for fans of all ages. Enjoy delicious food and beverage options, explore interactive exhibits, or catch a glimpse of your favorite golfers up close. There’s also a dedicated area for families, featuring fun activities and entertainment to keep the little ones engaged.
Debut of The Defending Champion Burger
When it comes to a burger, The Sea Pines Resort’s Fraser’s Tavern is debuting how defending champion Matt Fitzpatrick, one of the world’s top 10 players, would customize his personal patty, the “Defending Champion Burger.”
Fitzpatrick, who outlasted Jordan Spieth in a memorable playoff to capture the 2023 RBC Heritage, designed his own combination:
- Patty: Blend of short rib, brisket, and chuck
- Bun: Hearth-based sesame seed
- Add-ons: Applewood smoked bacon
- Cheese: Emmental (Swiss)
- Sauce: Garlic herb aioli
The Defending Champion Burger is one of six new burgers on Fraser’s Tavern’s menu. It retails for $19.95 (including sides), with $1 going to a charity supported by the Heritage Classic Foundation.
The 2024 RBC Heritage Presented by Boeing will be played April 15-21 at Harbour Town Golf Links. For additional information or to access the entire Fraser’s menu, visit the website at seapines.com.
