Golfers are expected to gather by the thousands when the 39th Chicago Golf Show presented by the Chicago District Golf Association (CDGA) kicks off the season, Feb. 23-25, at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont.

Attendees won’t need to look far to find giveaways, free lessons and the opportunity to swing thelatest clubs at the indoor driving range. It’s also the place to be for great deals on golf equipment, apparel, shoes, bags, balls and more.

Among some 300 exhibitor booths, dozens of golf travel destinations will be on hand to help golfers plan their next trips. Destination representatives will descend on Chicagoland to inspire locals to plan their next stay and play.  Among them is Florida’s Mission Resort + Club near Orlando, which recently hosted the Golf Writers of America Championship. The resort’s El Campeón Course was just selected by the USGA as a local qualifying site for the 2024 U.S. Open Championship at Pinehurst No. 2.

“We are very proud to be a stop on the road to the U.S. Open,” said General Manager Cindy Staley. “From youth to NCAA to men’s and women’s professional events, our signature course has stood the test of time since it first opened in 1917.”

The Chicago Golf Show a Chicago District Golf Association Town Square will cover 11,000 square feet and encompass two side-by-side Longest Putt competitions, a newly expanded walk-in retail shop, a media studio, and CDGA corporate partner booths.

“There’s no doubt the Chicago Golf Show is the unofficial kick-off to the Chicago golf season,” said Carrie Williams, executive director of the Illinois PGA, a decades-long supporter of the show. “By late February everyone’s eager to get the season going.”

Members of the Illinois Junior Golf Association can get in free if they’re registered for 2024. Free admission is for the junior golfer only. The IJGA also is reprising its popular Scavenger Hunt.

The Illinois PGA/First Tee – Greater Chicago Village will feature a larger-than-ever array of activities for young golfers, including putting and chipping along with giveaways and information about how children and parents can get involved.
