Two women – Tami Fujii and Dianne Celuch – wanted to solve that problem. They realized that most women wanted and needed something different. So, the two long-time friends created KINONA, a women’s golf apparel company committed to making golf fashion accessible and enjoyable. Tami and Dianne made the effort to speak to women golfers to get to the root of the problem. The women that they spoke to complained about the lack of stylish options and uncomfortable clothing that didn’t compliment their golfing but hindered it. There was clearly a big problem.
Women needed to have a clothing range that was stylish as well as comfortable. That’s because many women agree that golfing isn’t just a sport; it’s a lifestyle. In short, women golfing isn’t just golfing; they follow it with lunch, errands and social engagements. Needless to say, it’s important for them to look good.
