TRUE linkswear Expands Into Casual Footwear With OG Cush Premium

TRUE linkswear is taking one of its most popular golf-inspired shoes beyond the fairway with the launch of the OG Cush Premium, the company’s first lifestyle-focused shoe featuring a zero-drop design.

The Tacoma, Washington-based footwear brand, known for modern golf shoes that prioritize walking comfort, created the new model in response to demand from consumers who liked the original OG Cush but wanted a version better suited to everyday use. The OG Cush Premium retains the original’s core comfort principles while adopting a cleaner, casual silhouette for work, travel, errands, and time around town.

In a zero-drop shoe, the heel and forefoot sit at the same height, a design intended to provide a more natural, connected feel underfoot.

This introduction marks a significant expansion for TRUE. Although zero-drop construction has long been part of the brand’s golf shoe identity, the OG Cush Premium is its first casual lifestyle shoe to feature it.

OG Cush PremiumThe OG Cush Premium builds on the popularity of the original OG Cush.  That shoe resonated among golfers and walkers for its combination of level geometry, generous toe space, and added cushioning. But as the model gained traction, customers began asking for something less golf-specific—one that could deliver the same comfort elsewhere.

TRUE responded by shifting the emphasis from performance golf footwear to versatile daily wear. The OG Cush Premium is designed to transition across a range of environments, from a commute or office setting to airport terminals, weekend travel and casual walks. It also suits golfers who value the natural feel and comfort of TRUE’s footwear but want a shoe that doesn’t visually read as golf equipment.

At the center of the design is the same zero-drop foundation that has helped define the OG family. The shoe also features an extra-wide toe box, up to EEE width, to give the foot room to spread naturally. That spacious fit is paired with 6 millimeters of TRUE’s Wanderlux cushioning, a foam midsole designed to provide softness and support without removing the flexible, close-to-the-ground sensation associated with minimalist-inspired footwear.

According to the company, Wanderlux foam is designed to adapt over time to the wearer’s foot, creating a more personalized feel with continued use. The balance between cushioning and flexibility is central to the model’s positioning: it is intended to offer more comfort than a stripped-down barefoot-style shoe while still avoiding the elevated heel and restrictive fit common in many conventional casual sneakers.

The OG Cush Premium uses a premium engineered synthetic-leather upper, giving it a more polished appearance than a traditional golf shoe. TRUE has paired that upper with a versatile rubber “T” tread, intended to provide traction and stability on multiple everyday surfaces. The model also includes a comfort-tongue opening for easier entry and a heel-padding system for added security and comfort around the rear of the foot.

Initially, the shoe will be available for men in White/Navy and Grey colorways at a suggested retail price of $179.

The new model fits into TRUE’s broader approach to footwear, which blends golf performance, walking comfort and a minimalist aesthetic. Founded in the Pacific Northwest, the company has built its brand around helping golfers “enjoy the walk,” creating products meant to move naturally from the links to ordinary life.

Across TRUE’s core design portfolio, the company emphasizes comfort, modern styling, and responsibly sourced materials.

Its headquarters, pro shop, and content studio are located at Oakbrook Golf Club in Lakewood, Washington.
