PGA WEST is synonymous with golf in Southern California’s Coachella Valley. There’s no better place for those looking to play golf before the high season in the winter months, meaning players can still take advantage of PGA WEST’s terrific Golf Academy.
While some of the courses at PGA WEST, located in La Quinta, undergo reseeding, players can brush up on their skills with a set of Top 100 instructors at the Golf Mastery Experience, Nov. 17-18. The property, framed by the Santa Rosa Mountains, has nine golf courses, including the famed Stadium Course, designed by Pete Dye.
PGA WEST, recognized for thirty years as the “Western Home of Golf in America,” offers guests and members the opportunity to play at the Golf Academy while the resort reseeds its courses, including its three recently restored Dye courses.

The PGA West Golf Academy aims to offer the finest golf instruction in the world. With its resources, that goal is a reality. Golf instruction has blossomed into several components, including mental and physical well-being, custom club fitting, state-of-the-art video analysis, sophisticated launch monitor systems, and on-course instruction.
Each of these components is considered to provide the ultimate instructional experience, so each student leaves with a clear picture of the path to improvement.
The Experience will be led by award-winning instructors Bryan Lebedevitch, PGA, and Brady Riggs, PGA, two of the GOLF Top 100 teachers. Special guest tour coaches will include Kiran Mistry, Preston Combs, and Derek Deminsky. The cost is $2,950 per person, which includes two full days of instruction and meals.
