Central Texas’ acclaimed Horseshoe Bay Resort is best known for superb golf, spa, dining, and Hill Country adventures. In addition to boating and jet ski offerings, the AAA-Four Diamond destination is once again making the popular Splash Safari Aqua Park available to members and overnight resort guests.
Located on scenic, constant-level Lake LBJ, on beachfront at The Yacht Club at Horseshoe Bay Resort, members and overnight resort guests have access to this giant inflatable playscape, which features an array of fun and challenging slides, climbing walls, and balance beams.
“At Horseshoe Bay Resort, we believe in creating memories for the whole family. The Splash Safari Aqua Park is a testament to this, offering a new dimension of fun on the beautiful Lake LBJ,” shares Managing Director Randy Zupanski. “Whether it’s a post-golf activity for all ages or an additional adventure for the kids between pool time and the Jungle Kids Club, we invite you to join us for an unforgettable summer experience.”
Members and overnight resort guests can enjoy a session at the Splash Safari Aqua Park every Wednesday through Sunday through Labor Day weekend, but must purchase and reserve same-day session passes to enjoy time on the new attraction.
The preferred drive-to destination for discerning Texas travelers for more than half a century, Horseshoe Bay shines brighter than ever after a full-scale $100+ million renovation that includes three re-energized Robert Trent Jones, Sr. golf courses, completely upgraded guest rooms, the award-winning Cap Rock clubhouse, expanded conference space, a reimagined luxury Bayside Spa, fabulous restaurant concepts around the resort, and the Whitewater entertainment complex featuring 18 holes of putting thrills along with new lighting, putting course improvements and lush landscaping.
Horseshoe Bay Resort is one of the largest golf resorts in the country and is the original Texas lakeside resort destination. It is located 45 minutes from Austin on more than 7,000 acres of the Texas Hill Country and along the spectacular shores of constant-level Lake LBJ. It features three golf courses designed by World Golf Hall of Fame members Robert Trent Jones Sr, one by the legendary Jack Nicklaus, and the 18-hole, natural grass Whitewater Putting Course.
