Tour Edge Debuts New Family of Drivers

Tour Edge has introduced its new Exotics 725 Drivers, which it says is “the most forgiving’’ family of drivers the company has produced with the 10K MOI E725 and C725 low-spin design.

The higher the MOI, the greater the resistance to twisting on off-center hits. When the club twists, energy is lost. Reducing twisting helps with both accuracy and ball speed retention on off-center hits.

Tour Edge DriversThe company says the E725 driver has a combined total MOI greater than the 10,000 g-cm² (10K) threshold, the result of strategic placement of mass in the clubhead and the effects of the 360° Ridgeback technology utilized in the design.

The C725 driver, meanwhile, takes an emphasis on flight tuned performance and player-preferred shaping, while still boasting an extremely high MOI rating just under 1,000 g-cm² under the 10K mark.

“We’re getting into the 10K inertia market with a true performer in the E725 driver,” said Tour Edge founder, CEO and chief designer David Glod. “You can’t place a value on a clubhead that provides extremely straight drives from anywhere on the face as it simply and efficiently creates lower scores for every golfer. Both the E and C heads are astoundingly forgiving.’’

“Forgiveness has been something we’ve been excelling at in Exotics, at the very top of our industry, but this is an entirely new level. With 725, we are offering two specs that fit exactly what a certain player type is seeking for their performance off the tee. It is definitively game-changing how the 725 drivers perform.”

The new designs from the Tour Edge engineers, Glod said, include a revamped Flight Tuning System with fixed weight ports for greater ease of use, 3D Diamond Face advancements with three-dimensional diamond shapes behind the face for greater ball speeds, plus 360° Ridgeback Technology for superior forgiveness and feel.

More carbon fiber is utilized in the 725 designs and has replaced the Ridgeback spine for a brand-new look with sleek designs that offer Tour Edge’s cleanest looking Exotics to date.

For the first time, the 725 Series was introduced on the PGA Tour as prototypes to help the design team get as much feedback as possible for the final 725 designs.

The prototypes were introduced to the PGA Tour Champions in early 2024 and took off with extremely fast player adoption, becoming the company’s most played drivers on the 2024 Tour, accounting for more than 60 percent of its drivers in play.

“It was invaluable for us to get prototypes of the 725 to the tour almost a full year ahead of the launch,” said Glod. “We were able to listen to the players feedback in real-time along with the creation of the final designs. The Champions tour is the perfect proving ground to evaluate this new innovation and make certain that we have everything perfect in the designs for the end consumer.”

“The players have loved the protos, including many non-endorsed players. To be able to go out and prove that beyond a shadow of a doubt before launch has been incredible for us as we celebrate 20 years of Exotics in 2025 with this launch.”The Exotics E725 and C725 drivers ($399.99) each available for pre-order at authorized Tour Edge golf shops around the world beginning Oct. 15 and will be available in-store and for custom fitting starting Nov.1.
