PuttView X, an Augmented Reality system that has raised the bar for golf technology, was introduced at the PGA Merchandise Show to revolutionize putting practice.

The Putt View creates a visual map of the green, including contours to train your mind to see the “fall line” — the line of your putt. Such real-time data will help sharpen your ability to “read a green”.

The PuttView X revolutionizes how we “read” greens, offering insights on distance, break, slope, and speed. These glasses allow us to map out any green in the world without additional tools or preloading of data needed. With its see-through displays, players can gain a holographic view of putts with the start line, ball path, speed animations, and contours all at once – transforming the green into an interactive learning platform.

Using voice commands and hand gestures, users can move freely around the green, set any hole or ball location, and adjust green speed according to current conditions. PuttView X then calculates the putt path accurately and displays it.

The glasses are meant to be used as a training aid, helping players practice their putting like never before and improve in the key areas of putting: read, line, and speed. Additionally, PuttView X includes a smartphone app that lets coaches monitor what their students see and edit all visuals.

PuttView X is golf’s most technologically advanced training aid, and we were thrilled to unveil it at the PGA Merchandise Show, the industry’s annual showcase,” Lukas Posniak, one of PuttView’s founders, said. PuttView X received an incredible response, which is a testament to our engineers, who transformed a dream into reality through brilliant work.”

According to Christoph Pregizer, co-founder of PuttView and avid golfer, PuttView X’s ability to read any green instantly has the potential to change the way we practice putting.

PuttView, located in Hamburg, Germany, is committed to helping golfers attain their peak out on the green. Their inaugural item, PuttView Indoor, set the standard for augmented reality in aiding golfers with improved putting and is presently being utilized by the highest-level players and coaches worldwide. It uses a projector to display every facet of a putt on an indoor green while a tracking camera evaluates the player’s performance, providing an entertaining yet educational way to practice.
