The 20 teams will tee it up in contention for this weekend’s 28th PNC Championship in Orlando, with major champions Stewart Cink, Tom Lehman, Davis Love III, and Nick Price claiming the last four places.
The field contains eight former world number ones and six previous champions, including 2024 winner Bernhard Langer, a record six-time PNC title holder.
Langer and son Jason are two-time defending champions, having beaten Tiger Woods and son Charlie in sudden death last year. Team Woods passed on playing as the 15-time Major winner continues to recover from back surgery. 68-year-old Langer, a two-time Masters Champion, has won this event four times with Jason and twice with son Stefan.
41-year-old Gary Woodland, paired with his father, Dan, makes his debut appearance here after the 2019 U.S. Open Champion returned to action last year following recovery from successful surgery for a brain tumor in September 2023.
The 20 pros in the field, paired with a family member of their choosing, represent 40 Majors titles, over 900 international victories, and eight former world number ones.
Lee Trevino is the oldest professional in the field at age 86 and is the only one who has played in every edition of the PNC Championship. Paired with her father, Petr, winner of the 1998 Australian Tennis Open, 27 year old Nelly Korda is the youngest pro in action at the Ritz-Carlton Orlando Grand Lakes, and one of three women in the field. Annika Sorenstam will play with her 14-year-old son, Will McGee, the youngest amateur teeing it up. Steve Stricker’s daughter Izzi will be a player to watch as she’s fresh off victories in both the Wisconsin Women’s Amateur Championship and Wisconsin Women’s Match Play Championship this year.
