The environmental non-profit organization Audubon International is pleased to announce Porous Pave as its newest corporate sponsor. Porous Pave is a Michigan-based sustainable surfacing company that offers members numerous certifications and conservation initiatives to protect the environment where we all live, work, and play.
As part of the organization’s ongoing efforts to help golf courses, clubs, hotels, resorts, municipalities, private communities, and businesses establish and build on sustainable best practices, Porous Pave joins such longtime sponsors as United Airlines, epar, and Water IQ Technologies.
Christine Kane, CEO of the non-profit organization, says, “As a non-profit organization, we value our sponsors, and we are thrilled to welcome Porous Pave to the family.” Their business model emphasizes sustainable practices that are a perfect match for our ongoing mission of helping businesses and communities manage and own their properties in a sustainable way.”
Over 23 million pounds of scrap tires have been converted into aesthetically pleasing permeable paving solutions by Porous Pave since 2007. They offer permeable solutions that are extremely strong, ADA-compliant, slip-resistant, flexible, and durable enough to withstand freeze/thaw cycles and expansive soil. In addition to paths/trails and tree surrounds, Porous Pave products are ideal for golf cart paths and bunker liners, among many other applications.
Matt Lamb, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Porous Pave Inc, expresses enthusiasm about the collaboration with Audubon International, stating that they share a common goal of promoting sustainable environments. Since its establishment, Porous Pave has been committed to converting and recycling scrap tires into eco-friendly paving solutions. What sets our products apart is their exceptional permeability, durability, and filtering abilities. We take pride in our permeable options as they contribute to creating a greener future by enabling drainage back into the soil profile. As we join forces with Audubon International, we aim to introduce and educate their members on our innovative permeable paving solutions that align with the principles of the circular economy, benefiting both the environment and businesses alike.
