Captain America and Topgolf: A Match Made in Fun!

by | Jan 30, 2025 | News

Captain America to the rescue? It’s no secret that Topgolf Callaway Brands’ (MODG: NYSE) Topgolf business has struggled the past several months. So, what better Marvel Universe superhero to help than Captain America?

Topgolf Callaway Brands is launching what it calls “an all-new Block Party experience’’ inspired by Marvel Studios’ “Captain America: Brave New World,” in theaters Feb. 14. The limited-time experience is available at all Topgolf U.S. venues Feb. 1 through April 13 and is accompanied by a national in-venue sweepstakes and limited-time menu items. Players can check out the experience for free with Topgolf’s Free Play Time promotion.

According to the company, Block Party players will be transported to the nation’s capital (on screen), where they’ll team up with Captain America and use Topgolf’s latest new club –  The Sure Thing.

From Feb. 14 to 21, Topgolf will give away thousands of daily prizes, plus one epic grand prize, to lucky Players at Topgolf U.S. venues (except in New York and Webster, TX).

Here’s the gist: Random ball dispensers at Topgolf venues will be stocked with special red golf balls from Feb. 14-21. If a Player receives a red golf ball during gameplay, he or she will receive a scratch-off ticket (hint: every ticket wins a prize) revealing one of five prizes: a $25 Topgolf gameplay coupon and film-themed merch (backpack, tumbler, baseball hat, or special-edition beverage).

Players who receive a scratch-off ticket may then enter for a chance to win a grand prize valued at $15,000 that includes a Marvel Studios’ “Captain America: Brave New World”-themed trip for two to Washington D.C., $6,000 cash, a Topgolf National Harbor Experience and a Topgolf Platinum Elite Membership.
